So Happy to be on the team of So Simple

Shall I talk a little about the people behind So Simple? To begin with, let me introduce some of the most inspirational people on the team :

Our most hardworking executive producer, Hui Fen - being the leader of the team, she sets a really good example by dedicating the most time (sometimes even losing sleep) and effort to the show. She is supported by two very smart and resourceful researchers, Diana and Qing Fen who scour every nook and cranny for creative DIY ideas.

Our sweetest and most affectionate makeup and hair artist, Renee - who, no matter what strange hours or conditions you give her, never fails to turn up for work wearing a big smile and personality. She simply defines professionalism to me.

Our most endearing "host" (though she is technically an actor in our show), Pei Fen - her good look aside, she is someone whom I truly respect for her great attitude and sincerity. Working with her is a breeze, a very heavenly one at that. She doesn't complain nor whine. Her wits and quick thinking are entertaining. It's really fun being around her.

Do I sound like I'm bragging about my good bliss being around these wonderful co-workers? I bet you'd do the same if you were in my place. They're a bunch of really wonderful people; the BEST! The vibe of our collaboration has always been very good since day one.

Also, to all wonderful viewers of So Simple - we are grateful to you for being our audience. When we set out to do the show, our vision was to explore a way to do a good one that could combine interesting contents with great aesthetics. We knew it was going to be a challenge but we believed we would have an appreciative audience.

More creative tips to come

dear supporters of "So Simple",

just so you know, there'll be many more creative and useful DIY tips to come. Don't forget to switch your tv to ChU every tuesday at 9.30pm. But if you happen to be out on a date, you can still catch the repeat telecast at 11.30pm. Or better still, tape it, so you can watch how things are done over and over, until you turn into a DIY guru yourself!
